With trucks designed to gain every ounce of profit out of every mile they drive, we're doing more than just building trucks. We’re building businesses.

Smart for Business

As part of Daimler AG, the world’s largest commercial on-highway and vocational truck manufacturer, Freightliner Trucks has access to the most advanced research and development, innovative technologies, engineering expertise and business resources in the world. From the very beginning, Daimler Trucks North America has led the way in new product developments and technological advances that make our trucks safer, more efficient and more durable.

Smart Design

Freightliner spends countless hours talking with customers to understand what they need in a truck to make them more successful. Our engineers turn those requirements into real-world features and technologies on our vehicles to make every day on the job more productive. Trucks that push the envelope of innovation: That’s what keeps operating costs down—and profits up.

Lowest Total Cost of Ownership

Freightliner Trucks gives customers the ability to streamline their businesses by providing the most efficient trucks on the market. Both the Cascadia® and Cascadia Evolution include innovations designed to maximize productivity and decrease the total cost of ownership. These trucks were built with reliability and minimal maintenance in mind, maximizing uptime and therefore profitability. We also strive to ensure our trucks are driver-friendly, which is why we have added features that provide unmatched visibility and increased driver comfort. The Cascadia and Cascadia Evolution are also among the best resale trucks, thanks to our focus on reliability and longevity. Creating the most efficient trucks in the industry has resulted in lowest total cost of ownership for our customers.

Efficient to the Core

Hundreds of thousands of miles logged under actual operating conditions reinforce our commitment to your bottom line. We put aerodynamics to the test in our proprietary, state-of-the-art wind tunnel, where engineers continually modify and improve airflow around our truck models, consistently decreasing drag and increasing fuel efficiency. We design with total cost of ownership and uptime in mind. Add to that Freightliner’s technologies, like Run Smart Predictive Cruise and innovative ParkSmart battery-powered HVAC system, and our trucks are more efficient through and through.

Maximum Comfort for
Maximum Safety

On the highway, on a delivery or on the jobsite, drivers spend a lot of time in our trucks. With ergonomically designed driving environments and innovative engineering advancements such as a foot-actuated tilt and telescoping steering column and high-tech thermal and sonic insulation, Freightliner optimizes safety and comfort features. Take Freightliner Trucks’ Enhanced Stability Control (ESC), for example, which improves vehicle handling and control. At the end of the day, a safe, comfortable driver is a productive driver.

Better Together

Designed to enhance overall vehicle performance, Freightliner Trucks offers an integrated engine line including advanced, fuel-efficient engines from Detroit and Cummins, with horsepower ratings up to 600 and torque up to 2050 lb-ft. Both Detroit with BlueTec® SCR Emissions Technology and Cummins SCR engines meet or exceed EPA 2010 emissions requirements so they burn cleaner and actually improve fuel efficiency both on the jobsite and on the highway.

Ownership Made Simple

Whether it’s one vocational truck or an on-highway fleet of hundreds, Freightliner Trucks has highly trained sales representatives to guide you through the purchasing process—and beyond—with ongoing customer support.
